More people are working from home today due to the pandemic. As a result, employers are using technology and other means to monitor employee productivity. 

I had no idea that this was being done. I just assumed that the amount and quality of work employees produced daily/weekly was sufficient for employers to monitor employee performance. Guess I was wrong.
