NEWS TIDBITS: Landlords Get Help Evicting Tenants & No Government Shutdown

Good News! Looks like there won't be a government shutdown after all.

Now the bad news. Economists are predicting a double-dip recession if a new stimulus bill is not passed. I'm sure no one is surprised by this. I recommend continue calling your state senators and representatives to get this bill passed.

Next on the agenda...I recently found out that there is a new startup called "Civvl" that helps landlords evict people who are behind on their rent. The company is currently posting ads for "eviction crews" across the country. Now I'm not against anyone starting a business, it's just that this is not the type of business I expected to see during these times. But, I guess when you think about it...there is definitely a market (unfortunately) for this type of service.
