Mask or Vaccine?

CDC Director Robert Redfield is saying that wearing a "mask" may be more effective than a "vaccine" in preventing coronavirus.

I'm not sure what to make of this. But, I am guessing he said it because it looks like a vaccine will not be available for use until 2021 or 2022.
