There is quite a bit of concern about Mike Pence's bloodshot eye during the debate. One of the symptoms of coronavirus is 'pink eye' and it is very contagious. I hope that's not what he has. I can't believe that Pence's team let him come on air looking like that. I also don't understand why no one told Pence there was a fly on his head.  Looks like Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer was a target of a kidnap plot. This almost sounds like something from a Netflix movie. Glad she is okay. More details below... I knew Pelosi would blame Trump for ending stimulus negotiations.  In reality, Trump, Pelosi and the rest of Congress are all guilty of this stimulus stalemate. I am not a republican fan, but they did try several times to reach an agreement. One proposal included funding for an unemployment benefits extension, funding for PPE and funding for a new round of stimulus checks. By no means am I saying that more funding is not needed, but these are the three areas where funding is needed the most. After this bill passed, then Congress could focus on funding for airlines, local cities and state governments. But I guess that would be too easy. The holiday season will soon be upon us -- and because of no stimulus package, it is going to bleak for retailers.
